Mexico travel reports
My fellow students here at ITAM are definitely a lot more diligent than me in keeping everyone at home in the loop on what’s going on in Mexico. So, please see the blog of Bernhard (in German) and the one of Cyrielle (in French) for some insights about exchange student life here in D.F. In the meantime, I refer all readers to the mere uncommented flickr photo stream.
Travelling in Mexico
The tight schedule in Mexico – I have classes on both Monday and Wednesday – leaves some time for travelling. Here are some pictures from a trip to Oaxaca and Puerto Escondido, which we did in 6 days. Going with the nice luxury busses from bus station Taxqueña here in Mexico City over night is actually great and really smooth.
In Puerto Escondido, I learned that I was wrong about what surfing is all about. I thought it means freedom, maybe some nature connection. Turns out, the ultimate goal is being interviewed and featured in some surfer movie which is then showed in all hotels during dinner.
A lot of pictures can be found here.
By the way, check some great pictures of Mexico City in Carraol’s photoblog.
